Welcome, Whale!!
Finally, the long-awaited "Super Chinrest" has come to life. The silhouette of this spectacular accessory evokes the body of a beautiful, stylized Whale.
Born from a meticulous study and the feedback of numerous musicians, it immediately became one of my "flagship" products—or as we say in Italian, one of my "workhorses." (Horses, whales... the zoo is officially open!)
With its generous height of nearly 29mm, the Whale offers exceptional comfort with or without a shoulder rest, allowing for greater relaxation of the neck muscles. Although it is primarily developed over the tailpiece area, it is comfortable not only for those used to playing in a central position but also for those who prefer a more "lateral" grip. In fact, it greatly facilitates moving between different positions.
The core principle that guided me (beyond the importance of muscle relaxation) is that a chinrest should not force you into a fixed position; it must offer maximum freedom of movement while always guaranteeing an optimal "anchor."
